The day Corey Taylor tweeted me back. #DEEENCH

What a glorious day indeed. I can only hope to be this lucky someday.

This CD will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first one that I ever purchased with my own money, and therefore has ridiculous sentimental value to me.

From the first time I heard a Seether song (“Fine Again” from Nintendo’s 1080 Avalanche) I knew it was something. Then, after annoying my mom to high hell from repeating the song every time I played the game, “Remedy” came on the radio. It was love at first listen. I knew I needed to hear more.

It came to the point where I was in Chicago for a skydiving convention with my parents when my mom and I walked into a store. I had the money and knew I wanted to buy a Seether album. I had to choose between Disclaimer II or Karma and Effect. I ultimately chose K&E and the rest is history.

(I kinda want to start a music blog, either on Tumblr or another website. It was my goal for this summer but I never got around to it….maybe now it will happen)
